Erica + Chris / Wedding
Erica and Chris were married last weekend on a beautiful day at the Avon United Methodist Church in Avon, Indiana. A little known trivia fact is that Erica’s father proudly grew many of the flowers at his daughter’s wedding and did an incredible job doing so — nice work, Dad!
There were so many bright and colorful details throughout the day, it was hard to refrain from taking pictures.
We took Erica to this secret little garden cove beside the church, where she was surrounded with flowers in every direction — and a one-way mirrored glass window to boot!
Reverend Karen E. Devaisher presided the ceremony, sharing the incredible story of how Erica and Chris met and the amazing series of events that led up to their engagement.
They dated while in college, and, like many students, their careers sent them to different parts of the country … but Chris knew Erica was the one for him and the rest is history!
After the ceremony, a stretch limousine whisked the wedding party away to Williams Park in Brownsburg … and little did we know how much fun the Bridal Party would be — follow the leader, right?
After one final group photo, we spent the remainder of our time capturing some natural One-on-One photos and fun moments in-between:
The limo lead us to their reception, which was held at the Prestwick Country Club — the only private “Members Only” country club in Hendricks County.
I don’t think anyone in the room knew what Erica had planned for the cake cutting, but she perfectly executed the element of surprise in her favor … poor Chris!
Their first dance ended with a memorable moment and kicked off a long, fun evening of celebration.
Erica and Chris were a wonderful couple to work with and had us smiling, laughing and having fun alongside them all day long. It truly felt like we were part of their family, and are grateful to them for allowing us to document their special day.
