Jenna + Bryan / Wedding

Jenna and Bryan were married last weekend, at a private outdoor celebration at their residences. We photographed their engagement lifestyle session earlier this Spring, and instantly fell in love with the story behind how long they’ve known each other.

We arrived early at the bride’s house and had plenty of time to capture some amazing details:

Jenna’s dress was beautiful, and looked simply stunning against this backdrop:

Like many [of our] couples they opted to see each other before the ceremony for a ‘Private First Look’, and the tender moments we captured speak for themselves.

After a few intimate minutes, we kidnapped them for some luxurious One-on-One photos! Jenna’s backyard was a haven of beautiful trees and made our work easy.

While walking to our next photo location, I came across the perfect backdrop and couldn’t resist asking them to stop for a picture. Just imagine how incredible this photo would look hanging as a huge canvas print on your wall:

We finished up their One-on-One photos ahead of schedule and were soon joined by the Bridal Party. We had no idea for how much fun we were about to have …

The wedding party had a contest to see who could jump the highest and get the most ‘hangtime’ — the guys or the girls — who do you think won?

If you take into consideration that the girls were wearing high heels (in soft grass no less) and holding flowers, it’s an easy decision: Girls: 1, Guys: 0.

Without a doubt, we have some of the best clients and bridal parties in the business — hands down.

A while later, the ceremony took place in the bride’s beautiful front yard in front of nearly ~300 guests!

Afterwards attendees were guided along a walking path in the woods to reach the groom’s two-acre backyard where a huge 6,000+ square foot tent welcomed them with hors d‘œuvres and cocktails!

Jenna and Bryan have been next-door neighbors for the last 15+ years and pretty much grew up together, but went to separate schools for college — Jenna went to Indiana University in Bloomington and became a Hoosier, while Bryan went to Purdue University in West Lafayette and became a Boilermaker.

The rivalry between schools was quite apparent and was neatly woven into their reception — from the table names down to the fight songs played during open dance.

Jason Ryan from AMS Entertainment kept the party going in style, playing songs that kept the dance floor packed all night long — including an incredible impromptu performance of “Thriller” by Michael Jackson.

Bryan’s Dad wanted to make sure the tent was going to be “big enough” and just to be safe ordered an additional 30’ section to be added the day before.

Indy Tents stepped up the challenge and as usual delivered an incredible experience. Meanwhile, Malone’s Catering did a fabulous job of providing delicious food and top-notch service.

We had a tremendous amount of fun with Jenna and Bryan on their wedding day and am honored to be able to document and share their story. THANK YOU!

What beautiful pictures! Thanks for sharing them. Bryan looked handsome and manly (what happened to that baby face?) and Jenna resembled a princess. May God bless your marriage with love and happiness.
