Kerrie + Aaron / Engagement
Kerrie and Aaron drove all the way from Washington D.C. to get their engagement pictures taken this past weekend, taking advantage of the ‘extra day’ afforded by the Columbus Day holiday.
Aaron is a HUGE Indianapolis Colts football fan and had some ‘connections’ to get us rare access to do part of their engagement session inside Lucas Oil Stadium! Hello, VIP access:

The new stadium absolutely dwarfs all of the surrounding buildings, and I had to break out a Super Ultra wide lens for this next photograph:

After spending some time around the stadium, we stopped by a Starbucks on the way to the Indianapolis Museum of Modern Art. After a quick wardrobe change, we set out for the IMA’s lovely garden and grounds …

After spending the afternoon with Kerrie and Aaron, it became quite evident how hilarious they are together — such a fun, outgoing couple and not afraid to show affection in front of the camera.

As the sun began to set and slip behind the clouds, we used the soft light to our advantage and captured some tender moments:

We concluded the day at Robert Indiana’s iconic LOVE sculpture and Numbers 0-9.

We had such a great time spending the afternoon and evening with Kerrie and Aaron and can’t wait to see them again next summer. They’re planning a fabulous wedding next June at the Indiana State House and a reception following at the Indiana State Museum — we’re so excited to be a part of their celebration!
