There’s no better way to spend a beautiful Spring Day than taking pictures in the early morning light — so was the case when we met up with Jackie and Greg in West Lafayette.
Fueled with our daily fix of Starbucks, we thought it would be “fun” to mix things up by exploring the new Discovery Park on the Purdue University campus.
Lo and behold, our idea was welcomed by dozens of new buildings, breathtaking modern architecture and cool little hidden treasures — all just begging to be photographed as you can see:
We were having so much fun, we decided to head to downtown Lafayette, crossing the Wabash River by the way of the Pedestrian Bridge and Riehle Plaza.
Our timing couldn’t have been any better, as a local DJ was doing a fault check and testing his equipment out by cranking out Top 40 music in preparation for a 5K Benefit Run. It turned out to be a ton of fun seeking out cool places for pictures and jamming to music at the same time:
It was such a great time spending the day with Jackie and Greg and we can’t wait for their wedding in a few weeks!
