Brittany + Joe / Wedding

We rocked with Brittany & Joe a few weeks ago for their engagement lifestyle session and their wedding was a continuum of their passion and zest for each other.

While the guys were off spending the morning playing golf at Pebble Brook Golf Club in Noblesville, the girls were relaxing, listening to music, and sharing stories all-the-while “getting ready”.

Meanwhile, we’re doing what we do best and seeking out incredible, colorful and always fresh details:

Brittany and Joe decided alongside tradition and opted not to see each other before the ceremony, so we factored in plenty of creative Bridal Session “playtime” with the beautiful bride:

Brittany bought each of her bridesmaids a bright yellow parasol, and we loved the resulting color combination that perfectly coordinated with the groomsmens’ boutonnières.

The ceremony was held at Radiant Christian Life Church in Westfield and enabled Brittany’s father, the Youth Pastor at the church, to act as the officiant. (How fortunate her father must have felt to stand under the chuppah and be so close and involved in his own daughter’s wedding — for their smiles tell the whole story.)

They departed the ceremony to — literally — a ‘showering of bird seed’ that left Joe dusting off his suit jacket from all of the debris. We snuck them out back behind the church for some fun One-on-One photos and took with us a “Just Married” sign that had been passed down through the generations in their family since 1942. Yes, Love is Grand.

The magic that unfolds between a newly married couple is unscripted and incredible in every way:

Their reception was held at the Palomino Ballroom in Zionsville where the in-house DJ, Chris Burger, of Copper Moon Entertainment, kept the party flowing with some great music and wonderful lighting.

The climax of the evening was when Joe serenaded his new wife, Brittany, with an acoustical performance of a song he wrote for just for her on their wedding day! The song was an instant hit and had everyone at the reception mesmerized — including yours truly.

While the evening drew to a close and a severe thunderstorm soaked everyone and everything in sight … a black, luxury Hummer SUV awaited Brittany and Joe to take them away to their honeymoon.

We absolutely adore Brittany and Joe and treasure how much we’ve gotten to know them in the short time we’ve been together. We have so many incredible memories from their wedding day and can’t believe how fast it went by!
