Stephanie + Jason / Wedding
Stephanie and Jason were married on a beautiful Saturday afternoon a few weekends ago. They have some of the warmest and most inviting families we’ve ever met, and let me tell you — they know how to have a good time together!
While the girls spent the morning relaxing and getting ready, we wasted no time capturing some great detail shots:
A few hours later, their wedding ceremony would be held at the newly constructed Saint Malachy Parish, just outside of Brownsburg.
The church’s sanctuary is absolutely breathtaking and has a wonderful sense of peace and tranquility about it, despite its ominous size:
There are large stained glass windows and overhead skylights, allowing incredible amounts of natural light to shine down upon the altar — ideal for a ‘first kiss’:
In what-has-become typical Midwest fashion, the weather was at both ends of the extreme. The day started off with grey overcast skies and ‘bouts of rain leading all the way up to the ceremony. After the service was over, all of the bad weather had blown over and we were greeted with beautiful blue skies and puffy white clouds.
One side effect that was left behind was abnormally high winds, but it allowed us to capture to some candid moments of wind catching the veil:
Stephanie only had a few special requests on her wedding date, and one of them was a ‘veil shot’. Jason’s only request was a ‘fun photo’ of the two of them peeking out from the sunroof of their Jeep — mission accomplished:
We took advantage of the change in weather for some relaxed One-on-One photos and caught some intimate moments at the same time:
Later on in the day, their wedding reception was held at the Vineyard Room at the Chateau Thomas Winery.
The celebration continued on into the night, with entertainment provided by Matt Barnett of Digital Music Events and some of the best-tasting cupcakes we’ve ever had — from A Little Bite of Heaven bakery, of course.
We had a great time with Stephanie and Jason and wish them the absolute best as newlyweds!
